Texas Humane Heroes Pleads to the Community for Donations to Save Hundreds of Animals this Summer

Texas Humane Heroes, a private, non-profit, No Kill animal adoption organization is asking for additional donations to save the lives of hundreds of dogs and cats this summer. Last year, Texas Humane Heroes saved 1,001 homeless dogs for the months June through August. These animals were rescued from local municipal shelters that resort to space related killing when overcrowded. Following a decreased giving season this past winter and spring, Texas Humane Heroes (TXHH) is planning to drop the number of dogs and cats rescued by 30 - 50%. Immediate donations are needed in order to continue saving these animals and finding them adoptable homes.
